Dirt Pudding (Rocks and Soils Lesson)

Yesterday we had so much fun making Dirt Puddings.

For homework next week, please make an Earth Pudding at home.  Label your pudding with the correct scientific vocabulary and bring the pudding into school on Thursday 24th October.  Instructions will be sent home in book bags. If you would like to borrow a clear plastic cup from school, please let me know. The children will be able to eat their Earth Pudding on Thursday afternoon.

Trip to Stonehenge

Year 3/4 had a fantastic time learning about Stonehenge.

Plastic Assembly

This term Year 3 / 4 have been learning about single use plastic.  In class the children learnt about plastic that could be recycled and the plastic that ends up in oceans and landfills.  The children researched different ways to reduce their use of plastic and helped me prepare for an important assembly.  We have made individual environmental pledges.

Please feel free to send me some pictures of the children carrying out these pledges.

Thank you to the parents who shared some of their products from home and who came to the assembly.

Viking Exhibition

Year 3 / 4 raiders spent the morning preparing for their viking
exhibition in the afternoon. They worked super hard to get their stations ready and have
written amazing news reports on the viking attack at Lindisfarne in AD 793.

Fantastic team work and effort today!

Thank you to everyone who came to visit :)
